Adult Programs
Teen/Adult Summer Reading Program
This summer we are proud to offer a Summer Reading Program for both Teens and Adults. The planning is still in the early stages, but we will have lots of fun prizes for our loyal readers. There will be more information available in the spring! Watch for it!!
Books on Wheels
The Marion Public Library is proud to offer Books On Wheels. We will provide books to the elderly and shut ins that cannot get down to the library, but still desire to read and keep mentally alert. We will provide large print books, regular print books and audio books to those who wish to receive them. If you or someone you know would like to receive Books on Wheels, please contact us.
Book Discussion
The Book Discussion Group is meeting once a month. We will meet on the third Wednesday morning of each month. People are welcome to come to either... or both! All books are available in both regular and large prints. They are also available as audio books. Books will be available through the Library. We will start at 10 a.m. on Wednesdays and 6 p.m. on Thursdays with coffee and cake. Please don't feel that you need to be an intellectual to join us, this will be an informal group discussion of the plot, characters and author. Please contact us to reserve your spot and book.
