Storytime Schedule- Marion Public Library has some fun weekly events for you!
Storytime- 10:00-10:30am At storytime, Miss Esther reads a variety of stories with a weekly theme. Also included are fun songs, felt board stories and take home activities. Children of all ages are welcome to attend. Storytime takes place in the Children's Area of the library.
Walk-In Playtime- 9:00am-11:00am Walk-In Playtime is in the lower level of Marion Public Library. Children from infant to age 5 are welcome to attend with their parents. Playtime includes free play, storytime, crafts, and a snack. Feel free to drop by whenever you can- it is not required to attend the entire session.
Babygarten- 10:00am-11:00am Taking place in the lower level of the library, Babygarten is a program that brings caregivers and babies together for an hour of stimulating experiences intended to nurture the bond between caregiver and child and to increase the caregiver's awareness of their child's development. Babygarten's primary focus is the healthy development of infants aged 0-18 months old with an emphasis on language enrichment and pre-literacy skills. The program includes: nursery rhymes and songs, book sharing, parenting information, handmade toys and mementos, and a free play period.
