Butterflies, Ants and Bees… Oh my!

Hey kids, don’t let the summer fly by without coming over to the Marion Public Library and joining in all of the fun! We are making big changes this summer, but all of the fun and excitement and, of course, reading will still be there!

Story and Crafts will start June 16 and run through July 31! Groups will meet onMondays 10:00-11:00 or 2:30-3:30 and Tuesdays 10:00-11:00 or 2:30-3:30. When registering for the program you will be asked which session you will attend. You may sign up any time after May 12 at the library or the new online registration.

All children who wish to participate must have a library card and be registered by Friday June 13.
There will be all sorts of great prizes for children to win. There will be candy, toys, books, movies, t-shirts and more. Every week, as the children complete their reading records, just 2 hours of reading or being read to, their name will go into a drawing for super great prizes and names will be drawn at the summer end party. This year, the Friends of the Library are supplying T-shirts to every child who attends.

For those children who can’t or don’t care to participate in story hour and crafts, you may still be included in our program and still be eligible to win prizes. Just come in and sign up to get your independent reading records.
Wacky Wednesdays and a Wacky Friday will be additional programs held this summer at the Library.

Make sure to sign-up for these programs as well as the summer reading program!
